Improving your idea delivery

This video is a masterclass in making your ideas stick. I highly recommend watching it.

Even though they speak in the context of Youtube, you can apply it to many areas of your life.

  • Pitching to co-workers or investors

  • Writing online

  • Interviewing for a job

Etc. They all require you to package an idea (or set of ideas) so that people care about it.

The basic premise is this:

Assume your idea is boring. You need to package it in a way that the listener/reader/audience cares about it.

Even if you just watch the first 10 minutes, highly worth it.

The power of words

This video has resurfaced after four years and I loved it.

The power of words.

I won’t spoil anything, just check it out.

Focus sounds

For the last 5 years I’ve used brain.fm to improve my focus.

And I swear by it.

It’s a website that plays calm ambient sound with frequencies that can have a positive effect on your ability to focus.

A friend told me about it when I worked at Typeform and I’ve been a subscriber ever since.

It really helps me push through work where I need to be deeply concentrated.

You can try it for free for five sessions.

If you enjoyed this email, feel free to share it with a friend. It really helps :)

Cheers,
